As in my previous post, A Technology is a Scientific Method that prevails in our day-today life. So, Once you need to know about new technologies, I recommend to become a member of Scientific and Technology related societies like IEEE(Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, Inc.), AWS (American Welding Society), ISTE (International Society for Technology in Education, FASTS (Federation of Australian Scientific and Technological Societies), OSA (Optical Society of America), FEAST (Forum of European-Australian Science and Technology), ISA (Instrument Society of America) and many more. These societies promote and conduct high qualified research activities. As a result of such researches, are the Technologies we handle in our real life now like Mechanical Instruments, Mobile Phones, Computers, High Speed Networks through Land and Space, etc.
These researches were either conducted virtually or physically according the resource availability. Also many of these societies were sponsered by Collabration of Research based companies and Research Institutes. Also for an Individual research works, these societies awards Patent rights and Recognition. Each Society has a Membership Area, so People of Interest in Learning Technoolgies related to their Departments can Apply for Membership directly through the websites of that particular society.
After becoming a member, as per the plan you have adopted, you would receive Mails, Magazines, Newsletters, etc about the Functions, Conferences Innovative Technologies, Patent Holders Details and their projects, etc periodically.
