SmartPhone vs NoteBook ? Yes, believe it happens !

These days, i could see healthy competition between SmartPhone giants Apple, BlackBerry, Nokia, LG, Samsung. In parallel, it brings down the NoteBook(Laptop) market down. Yes, it happens. I came across few articles CEO change in Nokia, Laptop's and Netbook's with 3G Modem, etc. Apple and Blackberry were the top among leads in the SmartPhone Market. After Apple iPhone 4, BlackBerry Torch and Nokia N8 were the new arrival that are equally qualified on hardware and functionality. Laptop markets were already in saturation but its feared by Laptop makers that still the market could go down in near future.

The purpose to own each gadget change at each time. Most of the people who have laptops, have SmartPhones too. But price of smartphone is more or less equal to Laptops. Also Smartphones comes with HD experience like in Studio configured laptops. So, definitely its a threat to Laptop markets. Though with laptop we could attribute special magic like programming, Development,etc

Apple even breaks the storage issues with its Airport device. So, Point of buying a Laptop is more less except one. Programming is the part that can never have replacement for Laptops. Smartphones may be in future, comes with Terminal support can help Developers to work directly in their smartphones. I have not much to say about this situation. Its not too far for Smartphones to acquire Notebook markets. So, hope picture above could claim more about this situation. May be it reflects a wrestling between Smartphones and Laptops. I own Fujitsu L1010 !

After long days, I am back on eDoDe with my First and Brand New Laptop. Stylish Black, Energy Efficient Notebook makes me proud in my work. DDR3 RAM is very finest thing of this Notebook. I bought this Notebook in Singapore PC Show 2009. Hope you will find my previous post about DDR3 RAM and its Power saving capability. While being at confusion, the thing that stroke my mind is that the Company. Fujitsu is the initiator to manufacture Japan's First Computer "FACOM 100" in 1954, that is well known for its quality. Also the "Infinite Symbol" at Fujitsu Logo denotes "Infinite Possibilities" they have.

These are the main things, I considered more than the Configuration of my First Notebook. Also Configuration is Qualitativelly and Quantatively high. 2GHz Processor, 3GB DDR3 RAM, 250GB HDD, HDMI, FIREWIRE, In-Built Card Reader Slot, WebCam, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 3-USB PORTS, VGA Output, DVD R/W, 14' LCD Screen with LED Backlite. I found a good deal in buying this Notebook. Battery stands upto 2hrs, while in Gaming. I really admire this Notebook, ever since i bought. Try yourself, I gaurentee it...

DDR3 RAM - A Power Saver

RAM is the most important part of a CPU, The overall CPU progress and performance depends on the Space of the RAM. DDR(Double Data Rate) RAM belongs to SDRAM (Synchronous Dynamic Random Access Memory) family. DDR handles process with double the data rate than the previous Single Data Rate of SDRAM. DDR3 is the newly arrived RAM after DDR2. On comparison DDR3 RAM consumes power lesser than 30% of the power consumed by DDR2. DDR3 with Laptops shows very high performance and Good Battery life.

Technical speaking, it was stated that this RAM is manufatured with "Dual-Gate" transistors to prevent leakage of current and 90 Nanometer Fabrication technology, this RAM is capable to operate at 1.5V, while DDR2 RAM operates at 1.8V. This reduction in Supply voltage considerably saves the power. If you wannae buy Laptops, ask for DDR3 RAM fitted laptops. Also DDR3 RAM cannot be replaced in the place of DDR2, so its better to choose DDR3 fitted Laptops now for New Laptops.

NetBook Vs SmartPhone

Hope this is the new confusion among Individuals to buy NetBook or SmartPhone. NetBooks looks similar to Laptops have considerably less specifications than Laptops. SmartPhones has its own limitations on its volume. Coming to NetBooks - Its an alternative to Laptops but HD Gaming and Programming facilities are not supported with lesser Processor configurations. Most NetBook comes with Intel Atom Processor 1.6GHz, which condiserably consumes less power. Very Sleek design. Then coming to SmartPhones - They are comparably lesser to Netbooks on the basis of Size of the product, Battery Stability, Screen Size, Keyboard Size. SmartPhones do have QWERTY Keyboard, Wi-Fi Modules but handling of SmartPhones is difficult unless we have a good practice on it, One of Friend said. But Comparing to Laptops, NetBook shows good battery life with the range of 7hrs, and also handling simialr to Laptops.

Its has been a really great confusion in buying these Gadgets. Cost effectiveness is the thing we all would sync first. Smartphones with Good Configurations costs much higher than NetBooks. So Its a decision we have to make on the basis of comparison of its Space and Its frequency and effective usage of the above two Gadgets.
