SmartPhone vs NoteBook ? Yes, believe it happens !

These days, i could see healthy competition between SmartPhone giants Apple, BlackBerry, Nokia, LG, Samsung. In parallel, it brings down the NoteBook(Laptop) market down. Yes, it happens. I came across few articles CEO change in Nokia, Laptop's and Netbook's with 3G Modem, etc. Apple and Blackberry were the top among leads in the SmartPhone Market. After Apple iPhone 4, BlackBerry Torch and Nokia N8 were the new arrival that are equally qualified on hardware and functionality. Laptop markets were already in saturation but its feared by Laptop makers that still the market could go down in near future.

The purpose to own each gadget change at each time. Most of the people who have laptops, have SmartPhones too. But price of smartphone is more or less equal to Laptops. Also Smartphones comes with HD experience like in Studio configured laptops. So, definitely its a threat to Laptop markets. Though with laptop we could attribute special magic like programming, Development,etc

Apple even breaks the storage issues with its Airport device. So, Point of buying a Laptop is more less except one. Programming is the part that can never have replacement for Laptops. Smartphones may be in future, comes with Terminal support can help Developers to work directly in their smartphones. I have not much to say about this situation. Its not too far for Smartphones to acquire Notebook markets. So, hope picture above could claim more about this situation. May be it reflects a wrestling between Smartphones and Laptops. Tiny to Power Tiny !

The power i mean is the Battery. Hope you would have seen the Picture above. Its a Research outcome of Fraunhofer Research Institution for Electronic Nano Systems (ENAS). It weighs less than a Gram and Thickness of less than 1millimetre. Moreover this is an Eco-Friendly Battery which is built Mercury Free. The Voltage output generated from this Battery is 1.5V and can be connected in series to get 3V, 4.5V, etc voltages. The Group Manager of ENAS, Dr.Andreas has said that their goal was to mass produce the product which could reduce the price of the battery to a Single-Digit cent. Hope this is a Good news for Gadget Manufactures.

I heard from a Friend and even i too experience the inconvenience of large batteries occupying large space in a Gadget like Mobile Phones, MP3 Player, etc. Somehow the problem has come to an end. The Size of the forthcoming gadgets may reduce. Also for Active and Semi-Passive RFID Tags can be powered using these Tiny Batteries. Well, this is not the end, We can able to see lot more gadgets that we used to see in Movies in coming years. Thanks for this Technology.

Electricity comes Wireless !?

Here comes most surprise-full technology ever invented, Power through air medium i.e, through RF waves. This is very similar to wired electricity service. Then main difference is that the Gain or Amplitude of the signal of the Wired and Wireless medium of power transmission(Technically Speaking). With account of this year's Consumer electronics shows, almost every gadget is made with wireless charging.

My prediction is that the Gain on the transmitted signal will be high in its neighbour points. While a device placed near such transmission point, signal similar to AC power obtained from wired service is obtained and treated with Bridge circuits to get a pure DC volt. This DC signal is used for Charging the Gadget or Mobile phone batteries. Also Li-ion batteries comes with quick and effective charge sustainability. This makes the Wireless charging possible with the Gadgets. Commercially this product is like a pad, on which the Gadget can be placed to get it charged.
